Kathy's October Biscornu

Whew! Finished this one just in time to post on Halloween! This Owl Biscornu was a freebie on the Stitch-Creations blog, by M. Brouwer. I used some aida and DMC, varigated on one side, plain on the other.

Rosemary's October Biscornu

This was in my stash for a year and I am very happy to finally finish it. One side is autumn and the other is winter. I used "Olde Willow" hand-dyed threads on 32ct linen with MH beads, just as the chart says. Design by "". I found the pins at the LNS. I beaded the edge as follows: 1 stitch with 1 bead, next stitch with 2 beads, pattern is 1-2-1-2-1... Now I have to answer the door for trick-or-treaters...

Missy's Oct. Biscornu

Here, at last, is my Oct. Biscornu. I have stitched this design 3 times but this one I will keep. Here is the front and back:

Antonina's (lovebiser) October Biscornu

For this biscornu I use by part of sampler by gazette94, one of my favorite designers. I choose autumn rusty multicolor thread. Looks like real late autumn design. I decorated it with beads sewn into the biscornu seam and around the center bead. I really like the result.

Melissa's October biscornu

I am calling this one Rose and Dragonfly. The charts are from the Cross-stitch a day calendar from 2008 (I think that is the year). It is stitched 2 over 1 on a 14 count mint green fabric. It is HUGE compared to my other biscornu. It is 80x80 stitches.

I did a second biscornu this month stitched 2 over 1 on 14 count red aida. This is taken from Cross Stitch Crazy issue 130. This is a tiny biscornu. I think it was 30x30 stitches.

Terry's October Biscornu

Ah, coming down to the final few. This has been so much fun! October. What can you say about October, except Halloween! Well, it will be my 21st wedding anniversary as well, but Halloween is a lot of fun too. :) I've been wanting to stitch Just Nan's Whimzi Poor Jack! which is a freebie that you can find on her website. The pictures don't do it justice because I'm not using my pc (it's in the shop yet again!) and between dh downloading it off the camera to his pc, then putting it on a flashdrive, then downloading it to dd#2's pc, and not being able to use the programs to adjust the pictures, it just doesn't do a thing for me. In person it really is kind of cute. All those spiders were so fun to stitch! The legs were a blast to do. Happy Halloween everyone!

My_scraps (Ludmila's) biscornu for October

Let this big one (the small one was stitched before - but they are in the same colors;) so goes together) be for October...
I have no biscornu ready for August and September, but hope to have them soon...

Trillium's Belated September Biscornu

This is a free chart "Maple Leaf," that I designed. It is available here.

Where's my August biscornu, you ask . . . I'm still stitching on it.

Trillium's Belated July Biscornu

This is my belated July biscornu done in a freebie Moroccan theme. I'll post the online source for the chart tomorrow.

Trillium's Belated June Biscornu

I wanted roses for June. I took these from a Dover charted design book.

Lesley's September biscornu

I feel like I've cheated a bit as this biscornu isn't a normal stitched one!

Felty fifteen

I wanted to see what a fifteen sided biscornu would be like in felt, so here it is!

Tatiana (Arya)'s October Biscornu

I know I have to do some more to complete the Busket. But this is absolutely Halloween Biscornu so I deside to call it October :)
