Rosemary's September Biscornu

It's almost midnight and I'm just gonna make it. A freebie from For Chris & Anna who were married this month. Lots of hearts in this biscornu. 28ct Lugano, overdye thread.

Olga's September Biscornu

Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. I decided to make something that reminds me about these days. I used for my biscornu "Acorns" by "The Prairie Schooler".

Jayne's September Biscornu

This is a variegated thread, the pattern was very simple just the center pattern and I added the border .

Antonina's (lovebiser) September Biscornu

This time I want something really autumnal. It's very colorful time, so I used autumn colors for my biscornu as well.

Melissa's September biscornu

Old Roses Biscornu - from Alexandrina- Matrioshka Biscornu
Stitched on 14 count black aida, 2 over 1. Floss is Northern Lights Chinese silk - color Magenta (070).
The button is a Czech glass button. It is very sparkly in real life and reflects lovely colors when the light catches it.

I really enjoyed stitching this one.

Gabys September Biscornu

Well, it´s done, just right in time for the Victoria Sampler contest: The fall Biscornu and it was a lot of fun except cutting the fabric for the hardanger section...I am wondering how I can adjust the colors, they always aren´t the same on my pics as they are in real;-((

Terry's September Biscornu

Well, let's see if I can get this up. I've had it done for quite a few days now but I had a monkey wrench thrown at me in the beginning of the month when dh ended up in the hospital for a week. (He's better now but will be a slow recovery.) This month's biscornu was a fun one to do more so than usual. I used a piece of fabric from my stash along with Dinky Dye's silk limited edition, Autumn Sunset (this was acquired from European CrossStitch Company) and a freebie design entitled Fall Dreams 2008 from Alexandrina' freebie blog: (I hope it's okay to post the link here, and if it is, look in the 2008 biscornus, you'll find the one there that I did; and she's got a lot of gorgeous and cute designs there that I'd love to as well!). Thanks for looking!!!

Kathy's September Biscornu

I finished my 9th biscornu of the year on 09/09/09!
The designs came from a DMC leaflet, Cross Stitch with Rayon Floss, c1999, by Alice Okon. On the left is the Monogramed Medallion, and the right is the Blue Medallion.
I came across the little leaflet in my stash organization, and thought the two designs would make a nice biscornu together. The fabric is 22ct white hardanger, and I used cotton DMC floss rather than rayon. Added a cord so it could be hung or used as a scissor fob.

I'm a bit late! I went off this when I was in the middle of stitching it, and then ran out of floss when I picked it up again!
