Here'e my idea....

I am thinking of using these Painter's threads and using one thread for each biscornu. Not sure whether to do them all a similar size / style / design though. But then there are so many lovely designs of biscornu out there, I might be missing out by just sticking to the variegated threads. I was also thinking about each one on a pastel coloured linen. What do you all think and what are you thinking of?

Hi

Just thought I would stop by to say hello and let you all know how much I am looking forward to stitching loads of Biscornu and seeing what everyone creates. My name is Allie, I am a thirty something crafting addict from the Midlands, UK. Cross-stitching is my main hobby but I also knit, quilt and crochet.

A stitcher from Russia

I just posted about the 11 biscornus I stitched for Christmas, you can see them in my blog.

Glad to be here!

Hi :-)

I'm Jule, aka Laurylyan. Since I've discovered biscornus I'm in love!
So when I saw that this "Basket of Biscornus" project was to run in 2009 I thought: "This one is for me!" :)
I'm sure we will have a lot of fun looking at each ones progress, compare designs and finished pieces, etc.

Hi

Hi. Hazel here. For anyone who doesn't know me, I am a Christian, a stitcher, a wife, a mother and am a bit of a fanatic about cross stitch. Also started to do a bit of knitting and crochet too.
Thanks Tracy for setting up this blog as I just don't have the time to run it! Nice idea offering the incentive too and some nice freebie links too! If you're new to biscornu, Tracy has put some great tutorials on here as well so you might want to check them out. Don't know if I'll get twelve done but I'll have a go trying! I think I'll just do random ones - I have no set idea for what will be in my basket. I am a kind of disorganised girl. Look forward to seeing what everyone stitches up. xx

Welcome to everyone joining in

My name is Tracy Dixon, I am 28 years young and live in Newcastle upon Tyne with my two cats, I love cross stitching, reading and anything crafty.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's progress, this was a great idea from Hazel.
